case study: HOTEL ZEPPELIN

Viceroy’s new Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco held its grand opening this month. The groovy, psychedelic narrative of Hotel Zeppelin is perfect for guests looking to stay in a boutique hotel with personality and style. Seattle design firm Dawson Design Associates brought to life this energetic, bohemian space to compliment the city’s past and present culture.

warwick new york in NEWH Magazine

The Warwick New York Suites, designed by Interior Design International, was just featured in NEWH Magazine. The signature suites feature original work by Grand Image artists Maeve Harris, Patrick Atkinson, Sarah Atkinson, JB Hall and Gregory Garrett, as well as reproductions of historic photographs and other curated selections to best represent the hotel's story. 

HOtel Sorella in the Kansas City Star

Grand Image is excited to see The Hotel Sorella in Kansas City featured in the House & Home section of The Kansas City Star. Artist Sarah Atkinson’s 118"x118" original piece is the centerpiece of the hotel’s lobby. The hotel's interiors were designed by Dawson Design Associates.

case study: alley 24

Our clients at Portland-based design firm, Vida Design, approached us with a request to print historic Seattle photography at 22 feet wide on wall covering for the corridors of the Seattle apartment building, Alley 24.  This case study provides a creative solution for using small historic images in a large and impactful way.

hotel zetta in the new york times

A quirky custom wallcovering we created for the Hotel Zetta San Francisco received acclaim in the New York Times review of the Viceroy hotel, opened in 2014. Among several custom art pieces for the project, Grand Image created a custom bookshelf wall-covering for the bathroom featuring titles reflecting the bohemian and techy culture of San Francisco.
